  1. Ingredients for biryani masala :
  2. 250 g beef qeema
  3. 3/4 cup oil
  4. 2 large onions sliced
  5. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  6. 2 medium tomatoes sliced
  7. 1/2 cup yoghurt
  8. 2 medium potatoes cubed
  9. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  10. 2 tbsp dhaniya powder
  11. 1/2 tsp haldi
  12. 1 large cinnamon stick
  13. 2 black cardamoms
  14. 2 bay leaves
  15. 8 cloves
  16. 8 black peppercorns
  17. 2 green cardamoms
  18. 2 aloo bukharay
  19. 1 tsp salt
  20. Ingredients for rice :-
  21. 2 cups rice
  22. 3 litre water
  23. 1 tsp Salt
  24. 1 tbsp Zeera
  25. Ingredients for layering :-
  26. 1 medium tomato sliced
  27. 2 tbsp fried onions
  28. 1/2 cup podina leaves
  29. 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  30. 1/4 tsp jaifal powder
  31. 1/4 tsp javatri powder
  32. Yellow food colour as required

Instructions to make to make Qeema Biryani

  1. In a pot add oil and fry onions until golden. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute
  2. Add qeema and all the whole spices. Cook until qeema changes colour
  3. Now add all the powdered spices, aloo bukharay along with yoghurt and cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes, potatoes and a little water and cover and cook until qeema and potatoes are done
  5. Uncover and cook on high flame until oil separates. Switch off flame
  6. In a separate pot add water salt and zeera.
  7. When water is hot add pre soaked rice to it and cook until 3/4th done. Strain and set aside
  8. Now start layering. Put a little rice at bottom. Then put all the masala. Put sliced tomatoes and hara masala over it. Sprinkle food colour. Now put remaining rice on it and again sprinkle food colour.
  9. Sprinkle jaifal and javitri powder. Put fried onions on top. Cover and cook on dum for 20 minutes.
  10. Serve hot 😍❤
