- In a separate vessel, heat oil on a medium flame. When hot, add mustard seeds and hing. When the mustard seeds starts sputtering, add the tempered mixture to the fermented batter. Mix well.
- Pour this batter to the greased plate (thali).Steam the Dhokla.
- When the steamed Dhokla puff up slightly and r done remove from the gas.Off the gas.Check the Dhokla with a knife whether done or not.
- It takes approximately 5-7 minutes for the Dhokla to be done.
- Remove and cut into pieces.
