- In a mixing bowl add maida, curd, oil baking powder, sugar powder, and salt. Cut edges of the bread slice. Wet bread slice a little in water and crumbled it, add to maida mixture. Mix well.
- Add little water to bind it into a soft dough. Apply oil all over the dough. Keep covered for at least 2-3 hours to ferment.
- At the time of making..knead the dough again to make it smooth. Divide into 8- 9 equal portions balls.
- Heat oil for frying. Take one dough ball, flattened it, dust it with rice flour, and gently roll it into round puri of 5"- 6" diameter.
- Gently drop in hot oil, on medium-high flame. As it puffs up and the lower side turns crispy golden, flip and fry till the lower side turns crispy golden.
